Emaar will conduct studies and submit a detailed project feasibility report outlining the potential of development to Dubai Municipality as part of a MoU that has been signed.
Following approval of the master plan, the Emaar Properties with Dubai Municipality will finalise the project management structure, the companies.
The project, which is being planned around the 53-hectare Al Mamzar Lake, is expected to include waterfront residences, retail amenities, serviced residences, fountains and water features, and water-themed leisure attractions.
